Bronte Nieuwenburg has done the form for Tuesday night’s nine-race card from Bendigo.
R1 – 6.05pm – Forty Winks Pace – 1650m
6 – Final Bow
8 – Metro Memory
3 – Salsboy
7 – Tophut Johny
R2 – 6.30pm – Alabar Bloodstock Pace – 2150m
8 – Where Is Woody
1 – Madam Reactor
3 – Mad Punta
4 – Tupelo Beach
Where Is Woody has been racing really well this campaign but has often had little luck. He follows out behind Madam Reactor, who is a good beginner and also racing well, so he should be in a good striking position late.
BACK: 8 Where Is Woody – 2 units (win)
R3 – 7.00pm – Gold Central Victoria 2yo Maiden Pace – 1650m
10 – Seaside Boy
5 – Scooter Lou
8 – Draw The Curtain
3 – Snack Lover
This is a competitive two-year-old event, but I’m sticking with debutant Seaside Boy. He has strong winning trial form at Melton, is a well-bred son of Downbytheseaside, and a half-brother to Ride High, prepared by Emma Stewart. He looks hard to beat.
BACK: 10 Seaside Boy – 3 units (win)
R4 – 7.37pm – Smartloans Bendigo 2yo Maiden Pace – 1650m
4 – Most Exciting
1 – Mezzanotti
7 – King Jimmy
10 – Tryx Vixen
R5 – 8.11pm – Simonds Homes Bendigo Mares Pace – 2150m
10 – Carramar Titmus
6 – Redbank Molly
9 – Emjay Jazz
3 – Lou Easyana
R6 – 8.45pm – Bendigo Ski Boat Centre Pace – 1650m
6 – Out To Stay
7 – Assigned
5 – Rocknroll Willow
3 – Soho Playgirl
Out To Stay is a horse who has caught my eye recently, and he looks like a bright star of the future. His run in the breeze two starts ago at Melton, where he finished second, was outstanding, and he hit the line well last start in the IRT Shakamaker 2YO Classic. This looks like a good race for him.
BACK: 6 Out To Stay – 2 units (win)
R7 – 9.19pm – Nutrien Equine 3yo Maiden Pace – 1650m
1 – Wicked Wizard
8 – Hezaflashone
7 – Kualight
6 – Seventh Immortal
R8 – 9.53pm – Haeuslers Echuca 3yo Maiden Pace – 1650m
3 – Beach Dancer
1 – Major Corbie
5 – My Machete
6 – My Mate Ace
R9 – 10.30pm – Garrards Horse & Hound 4yo Trot – 2150m
6 – Derek The Jet
2 – Violet Stanford
5 – Remus Phoenix
1 – Mega Spur
What a fantastic race this is! So many young trotting stars are stepping out. I’m sticking with the super trotter, Derek The Jet. He hit the line so well last start when he didn’t have any clear running in the Group 1 Aldebaran Park Bill Collins Trotters Sprint, and his first-up performance was sectionally outstanding.
BACK: 6 Derek The Jet – 3 units (win)

** A betting unit is typically a percentage of the total bankroll or the amount of money you are willing to risk on a particular bet – for example 1 unit is 10% of your bankroll, therefore with a $100 bankroll 1 unit equals $10.
