Goodform Gameplan: Cranbourne Sat 10th July

This is an incredibly tough way to start the card but I’m hoping with several go-forward runners of the front line we’ll get the kind of tempo required for HULI NIEN (7) to use his superior turn of speed late. Beware any significant moves with MACH LE MORE (3) who is first-up on Victorian soil and trialled very well at Maryborough recently. 

SUGGESTED BET: 

$15 Each Way HULI NIEN (7) at $7 or better 

The key runners are ENHANCE YOUR CALM (5) and IMSETTOGO (6) but both are about they’re right price, so I’m inclined to stay out despite wanting to back ENHANCE YOUR CALM (5).

The market move, against STILL HUNGOVER (8) has been significant but I remain confident she’s a clear on-top selection despite slightly awkward circumstances tonight. With a few runners we can rule out of running a drum it’s enticing to play exotics but STILL HUNGOVER (8) is at a price where straight out looks the better option.

$30 Win STILL HUNGOVER (8) at $2 or better

This is another race where our top tip has been worryingly easy but hopefully that just means better odds for us. There are a few promising types among her rivals, but PLATINUM SPARKLE (7) has th4e score on the board and deserves to be shorter than she is. 

SUGGESTED BET: 

$30 Win on PLATINUM SPARKLE (7) at $1.80 or better

Now this looks a good betting race. Plainly put TANGO TARA (5) appears a certain leader and will likely cop no pressure once he finds the top. That makes him a near-certain winner and with limited chances to join him on the podium we can really play. 

SUGGESTED BET: 

Flexi Trifecta: 5/ 6,7,9/ 1,6,7,9: $54 gets 600% 

Flexi Trifecta: 5/ 1/ 6,7,9: $6 gets 200%

This is yet another event where we could play around the edges and search for an exotic solution, but TORRID SAINT (4) is already so well placed we don’t have to. If he leads, he’s a $2.30 chance and if he’s one-0ne he can still definitely prevail.

$20 Each Way TORRID SAINT (4)

The early price of $5 for BRANDLO PRINCE (5) was very generous; the current quote of $3.60 less so. In my opinion they have muddles the market to some degree however so if we back our top tip for a decent bet then have small EW wagers on the value runners, we should hopefully strike a blow somewhere.

$30 Win BRANDLO PRINCE (5) at $3.20 or better 

$10 Each Way TRAVEL BUG (6) at $9 or better 

$5 Each Way ALDEBARAN CRESCENT (8) at $14 or better 

$5 Each Way PANTZUP (10) at $26 or better

I’m relatively sure that either SANDAY (7) or DENIS WILLIAM (6) will win this, and the Bundle bet gets you $2.33 which is probably good enough.

JEMSTONE GLORY (10) produced a huge run at heat level of this series and her overall form says she’s an Each Way beat to nothing. If you got the $9 congratulations; we’re now being asked to take $5 and that remains good enough.
