Ryan Phelan has done the form for Tuesday night harness action from Shepparton.
R1 – 6:27pm – Thank You Ian McDonald For Your Services To Shepparton Pace - 2190m
1 – Herakles
8 – Beta Than Love
4 – Good Tobe Locksley
6 – Night School
Herakles has been very solid in his four runs back from a break, and that added fitness helps here over the 2190m. Last start he sustained a long run, wide on the track from a backrow draw, now he’s drawn to lead. If he can pinch a decent quarter in the middle stages, he will be hard to run down.
BACK: 1 Herakles – 1.5 Units (win)
R2 – 7:00pm – Neatline Homes Pace – 1690m
1 – Wazowski
8 – Our Cheeky Devil
4 – Interpretation
6 – Paris Princess
R3 – 7:34pm – Avenel Equine Hospital Pace – 1690m
8 – Sassy Gabby
1 – Broadway Brenda
5 – Ideal Moth
4 – Heavens Gift
Sassy Gabby has been terrific in two career runs and I was with her last time when a very brave 3rd in what may be a strong form race. She’s drawn behind a speedy beginner and likely leader, so if she gets the breaks look for her late.
BACK: 8 Sassy Gabby – 2 Units (win)
R4 – 8:08pm – Cottrell Electrical Pace – 2190m
4 – Animado
6 – Sir Sonny Maguire
10 – Karuma Kev
2 – Sophies Scooter
R5 – 8:42pm – Members Draw Every Tuesday Night Pace – 2190m
10 – Dooo Don’t Think
9 – Clives Girl
6 – Shezabluechip
7 – Amber Alert
Dooo Don’t Think is normally a bold front running type, but over the longer trip I don’t mind the draw for him tonight. I was with him two back when he won well, and I just think he had to work too hard last time, so it was a forgive run. He can bounce back against this suitable line up.
BACK: 10 Dooo Don’t Think – 2 Units (win)
R6 – 9:16pm – Only $25 Memberships Trot – 2190m
9 – Lots Of Change
8 – Majestic Charma
5 – Aussie Muscle
3 - Jansu
R7 – 9:50pm – Central Tyre Service Trot – 1690m
7 – Christmas Babe
9 – Settle The Bill
8 – Suzys Dream
4 – Col Du Granon
Christmas Babe is a smart beginner who runs her best races in front over the short trip. Favourite, Settle The Bill has been so honest for new trainer Damien Wilson, but she didn’t look as sharp last time, so I have to take her on. Christmas Babe drops back in grade to a more suitable assignment and if she can find the top will be hard to run down at better value.
BACK: 7 Christmas Babe – 1.5 Units (win)
R8 – 10:27pm – Your Sold Real Estate 3yo & Older Maiden Pace – 1690m
3 – Roxella
5 – Owen The Saints
4 – A lot Like Pendles
7 – Luvn Osman
Roxella is a 3yo filly having her second race start here, and I really liked her improvement on debut after a sound trial. Added fitness and a similar progression should only see her come on from that, and she looks to have the speed to lead, which is a massive advantage over this distance.
BACK: 3 Roxella – 3 Units (win)
QUADDIE (Races 5-8)
6,9,10
3,5,8,9
4,7,8,9
3,4,5
$72 = 50%

** A betting unit is typically a percentage of the total bankroll or the amount of money you are willing to risk on a particular bet – for example 1 unit is 10% of your bankroll, therefore with a $100 bankroll 1 unit equals $10.
