'The maestro of Melton' Dan Mielicki produced another virtuoso performance as Harness Racing Victoria's morning trots trial roared to life at Tabcorp Park today.
Mielicki, the voice of harness racing in Victoria, delivered one of the more memorable calls as the rain fell at Melton – referencing a classic Seinfeld racing line in Race 3.

The morning trots are being beamed around Australia via Sky Racing and into the United States for wagering and viewing on Saturday mornings for a three-week trial period.
The US folk would undoubtedly have appreciated the Seinfeld line and will be looking forward to the next two Saturday morning Aus time (Friday night US) programs.
Michael “King” Cole and Greg “The Candyman” Sugars took driving honours on the seven-race card with winning doubles.
