It’s all gone to plan and then some for Cran Dalgety this TAB Inter Dominion pacing series, which continues tomorrow night at Cranbourne with the last of the heats.
The renowned New Zealand trainer, whose pacer Im Pats Delight has taken all before, joined Trots Talk hosts Michael Howard and Nims Azoor ahead of tomorrow’s last hit-out.
“We came across hopeful rather than confident … but we threw him in with the sharks hoping he would swim and he’s just gone ahead,” Dalgety said.
“We are just busting and blundering our way through the series I supposed you could say. We are very lucky to pinch one of your icons in Gavin Lang, so that’s been a big advantage for us.”
