Information for participants regarding interstate borders

Victoria’s border restrictions have changed effective 11.59pm Thursday 21 October.

Trainers and drivers from other states are permitted to enter Victoria and transport their own horses.

All persons entering from other states must have valid permit.  To obtain a permit click here.

The type of permit granted and the COVID-19 testing and isolation requirements will depend on where the person is travelling from.

All interstate participants will be required to complete HRV’s Interstate Trainers and Drivers Declaration available at thetrots.com.au/covid-19 procedures and submit this document to integrity@hrv.org.au

Persons entering Victoria to race are encouraged to check the requirements for returning to their home state here as testing and isolation obligations vary from state to state.

(Note: this information does not apply to participants that reside in cross border zones)
