Harness Racing Victoria (HRV) has a new board member in Judy Rothacker (pictured with this year’s Gordon Rothacker Medal recipient Ginger Gleeson and the 2018 medallist, Dick Lee).
The Minister for Racing, the Hon Martin Pakula, issued a media release confirming the appointment today.
Rothacker has been a long-time contributor to the Victorian harness racing community as an owner and breeder of horses, President of the Angelique Club and industry advocate.
“I’m delighted to welcome Judy to the HRV Board and I look forward to working alongside her,” HRV Chairman Dale Monteith said.
“Judy is a highly respected, passionate advocate for harness racing and her experience will be extremely beneficial.”
Rothacker has an extensive background in education and is passionate about preservation of harness racing history.
