Kate Gath and James Herbertson will represent Victoria at the 2022 Australian Drivers Championship in South Australia next month.
Gath and Herbertson have been picked to take on leading drivers from around the country in the first edition of the series since 2019.
Each state will be represented by two drivers, with horses allocated on a random basis across the eight championship events on the card.
Western Australia’s Gary Hall Jnr won the Australian Drivers Championship in 2019, with Chris Alford the last Victorian to triumph in 2017.
The 2022 series will be held at Globe Derby on September 17.
