No racing at Cranbourne tonight after deluge

Stewards postponed tonight’s Cranbourne harness racing meeting after a deluge of rain hit the track in the late afternoon.

HRV stewards tweeted at 4.29pm: “CRANBOURNE – Meeting postponed due to the weather and the state of the track. Mobile barrier unable to gain traction”.

Participants were immediately advised via text alert and HRV will inform of the meeting’s status in due course.
