TAB customer collects more than $47k from $10 trots multi

One TAB punter enjoyed Saturday night’s harness racing at Albion Park after collecting $47,903.90 from a $10 multi.

The TAB customer in question selected the first five winners at Albion Park, which included tipping against multiple Group 1 winner Colt Thirty One in Race 3.

The selections in the $10 five-leg multi at odds of $4790.39 were:

  • Chevrons Reward to win Race 1 ($2.70)
  • Paravani to win Race 2 ($2.90)
  • One Change to win Race 3 ($9.50)
  • Needabacardi to win Race 4 ($23)
  • Little Bolt to win Race 5 ($2.80)

“The achievement by this TAB punter to pocket almost $50,000 from a $10 multi is the biggest Fixed Odds collect involving harness racing this year,” TAB’s Trent Langskaill said.

“The audacity to tip One Change over $1.12 favourite Colt Thirty One in ‘The Creek’ Christmas Cup was then topped by picking $23 hope Needabacardi in the fourth leg of the multi.

“After the win of Little Bolt in the fifth race, the TAB customer could have potentially celebrated with a Bacardi after securing their payout of $47,903.90.”
