GLAM ROCK (8) is consistent and his one win this campaign was at this level in July. He got to the finish strongly last week in good closing sections. GOLDEN SCRIBE (7) looks the roughie chance from the suitable economical draw and is close to another win. HILLDALE SUNRISE (11) went well in a recent trial and GOODJET (2) is the interesting runner.

BOTTLE ROCK (8) got it wrong on his local debut but has subsequently followed up with an impressive trial and a game second last week, hands down the one to beat. ALWAYS A CELEBRITY (5) looks best of the rest with stablemate FIRE HOUSE ROCK (11), who draws poorly again. Maiden winner last week FALCONS BEAUTY (6) rates next.

Confidence:
All of these on their day are a genuine winning chance so it is close to a field job in the Early Quaddie. SANDOVAL (5) deserves a win after solid runs in each of his last three. GOOD ONYA (6) will be running hard and was a big run last week as was KILLER DRAGON (8). COME ON ELVIS (3), WOODY NIGHTSHADE (4), THE DEFIANT (1), GRINAGAIN (7) and the resuming SOME STONE (2) can all win at their best.

Race 4
Confidence:
BEZZABOMA (11) will be prove hard to beat if gaining a start after a big run last time which he followed up with a trial victory over CALGARY BAY (3). CALGARY BAY (3) is obviously a class runner. DAWNS PEACH (7) just needs some gaps to go very close. CAESARS REIGN (10) is more than good enough. MIDNIGHT QUEEN (1) will be prominent from the draw and STEALTH MODE (6) and WHITE STAR VILLAGE (8) are both in good form.

Race 5

PUR DAN (6) is good at convincing you to back him at his next start and did that last time when finishing it off alright behind Bernie Winkle, Egodan and Murranji Track. He does know how to get beaten as favourite though. BOSS MAJOR (9) is the enthralling runner of the race. STONEBRIDGE STAR (1) had no luck last week and as I’ve said in recent weeks, he is more often than not worth an each-way bet and whilst the draw helps his chances, maybe he is more of a place chance up against two good ones. FRANKTANK (7) has a sticky draw but rates highly.

Race 6
Confidence:
CAMNAT (5) has been brilliant in two starts for Luke Watson and should be going very close to making it three from three. AQUAFLIGHT (7) also has the same record since joining the same stable but is disadvantaged obviously with the barrier draw. MINIKA (4) rates next whilst BARNEY FELLA (9) could improve on the figure form down significantly in class.
SUGGESTED BET: CAMNAT (5) to Win

Confidence:
BERNIE WINKLE (8) tries to become the 74th standardbred this century to hit a double-digit winning streak and it is obvious on recent runs he will do it and anything else would be Courage Under Fire Inter Dominion Heat scenes. EGODAN (9) obviously rates next. CAULONIA TERROR (3) is the bet in the race from a place perspective if decent odds to run top three.

COCO BEACH (6) took forever to break through and since doing so her confidence has skyrocketed and she is flying. MACH HU (8) is the enthralling runner first-up for Shane Osborn. SANTA CASA DREAM (9) obviously has the class but the draw is a big disadvantage to her style of racing.
SUGGESTED BET: Boxed Trifecta 6, 8, 9
Race 9
Confidence:
SHADY JESS (9) has had her chances but was unlucky last start against stronger and this grade of race suits her. I still think we can see a bit better from MODS (5) and his two local runs haven’t been disgraceful. PROMISE ME HEAVEN (6) is very interesting first-up for Scott Garraway and has been knocking on the door for a while.
SUGGESTED BET: SHADY JESS (9) Each-Way
Race 10
Confidence:
WILSHIRE BOULEVARD (5) brings good form for his Sunraysia debut so he is hard to oppose. POPNPENNIES (4) has resumed in good form and looks the danger and COSLTY MISTAKE (7) is obviously a key chance as well.

Early Quaddie
The opener is interesting, and it will be enthralling to see how it pans out with some of the key chances off the second row. Bottle Rock looks one of the best of the night in the second whilst every single one of them can win the third with multiple chances in the last leg also.

It will be a big shock if both Camnat and Bernie Winkle get beat and Coco Beach and Mach Hu are the main two in the last leg but if by some miracle Santa Casa Dream could get to the front, her chances would increase significantly.
