The big guns are starting to re-emerge, with a host of first-up stars kick-starting campaigns in Bendigo this Saturday night.
David Moran’s Group 1-winning three-year-old Patsbeachstorm is back at the races after a short stint away, Russell Jack is set to start exciting stable acquisitions Perfect Stride and Boots Electric and Clayton Tonkin will roll out gun entire Out To Play during the meeting at Lord’s Raceway.
A cracking 11-race card has been assembled, which will include three Group 3 events – the TAB Sumthingaboutmaori Trotters Free For All, VHRC Caduceus Victoria Sires Classic and Alabar Vicbred Championship Final – and will conclude with the Donalds Winners On FB Claiming Pace for horses with price tags between $10,000 and $100,000.
Jason Bonnington will host the expansive Trots Vision coverage alongside Kirsten Graham and caller Lachlan McIntosh, with a big night of wall-to-wall coverage also planned at Ballarat on Friday night.
Those two nights headline the week’s racing in Victoria, which takes in nine meetings through until next Monday.
