Three Vics gain Miracle Mile start as field is confirmed

Three Victorian-trained horses have won a place in next Saturday night’s $1million Miracle Mile at Tabcorp Park Menangle.

Aaron Dunn’s superstar Bondi Lockdown was given a wildcard entry alongside Belinda McCarthy-trained Expensive Ego at the weekend, with the pair to join the other six qualifiers in the final field of eight.

Chariots Of Fire winner Better Eclipse (Jess Tubbs) and Newcastle Mile champ Mach Dan (Emma Stewart) are the other Victorians in the line-up.

Jay Ok and Like A Wildfire have been named emergencies.

The barrier draw for the race will be conducted on Monday night.
