The SuperTAB First 4 pool is projected to reach $50,000 for Saturday night’s IRT Lennytheshark Free For All at Melton and the trainers have had a say on the chances of their horses ahead of the 2240m event.

1: Helluva ($6)

Trainer: John Justice / Driver: Ewa Justice

Trainer’s thoughts: He is really good. He had a really good run last week. He ran a fast time and did a lot of work. He needs a good barrier draw and he has got one – he can run a big race.

2: Heza Son Of Agun ($5)

Trainer: Matthew Craven / Driver: Matthew Craven

Trainer’s thoughts: He has come through his run well. He will need a bit of luck, but I am happy with how he is. I don’t think he can cross the one, but he will need some luck.

3: Justalittlesip ($15)

Trainer: Joe Pace / Driver: Joe Pace

Trainer’s thoughts: He has drawn well and is ready to go. Three is a good draw for him, if Helluva from one leads, Heza Son Of Agun looks for a sit and I can get to the breeze. He will be running home late.

4: Final Collect ($41)

Trainer: Leilani Justice / Driver: Jackie Barker

Trainer’s thoughts: He has got some fast horses inside him and some fast ones outside him as well, it’s not exactly an easy race. He is still green for the level, and he would need some more experience, but should hold his own.

5: Outlaw Man ($13)

Trainer: Andy Gath / Driver: Jordan Leedham

Trainer’s thoughts: I think Outlaw Man will improve significantly off his first-up run, but it will be tough to win from this draw.

6: Ideal Escape ($41)

Trainer: Julie Douglas / Driver: Ellen Tormey

Trainer’s thoughts: He is going well, but he has drawn a bit wide.

8: Triple Eight ($2.60)

Trainer: Jess Tubbs / Driver: Greg Sugars

Trainer’s thoughts: Happy to see him draw the pegs this time around. Hopefully they go as hard as they did last week.

9: Ultimate Vinnie ($26)

Trainer: Sam Barker / Driver: Jack Laugher

Trainer’s thoughts: He is first-up and will need the run. He has drawn very good, should head to the pegs straight away and try follow Triple Eight.

10: La Captain ($51)

Trainer: Jess Tubbs / Driver: Sean O’Sullivan

Trainer’s thoughts: Not drawn to take advantage of his gate speed so going to need luck in running.

11: District Attorney ($12)

Trainer: Jodi Quinlan / Driver: Jodi Quinlan

Trainer’s thoughts: The draw is awful for him - he is going to need a bit of luck from there. His last two runs have been good. His last run was encouraging, and he sprinted well for the last 600m.

12: Tango Tara ($8.50)

Trainer: Andy Gath / Driver: Kate Gath

Trainer’s thoughts: Tango Tara is racing as good as ever and is always a winning hope, but his main dangers are likely to be getting easy runs on the pegs.

13: Captain Hammerhead ($8.50)

Trainer: David Moran / Driver: David Moran

Trainer’s thoughts: He has been going really well and he is the best I have ever had him at the moment. Barrier 13 is going to make things interesting, but with the right run in running he should go pretty close.
