A Freddy Taiba two-year-old stormed the line and looks ready to break his maiden, and a four-year-old well bred mare produced an eye-popping second.

They were some of the key takeaways from the Victorian trials circuit this week, with both earning berths in Craig Rail's Trial File Blackbook.

Here's the trial-by-trial breakdown.

SHEPPARTON 14/05/2020

Trial 1: - LUNAR DELIGHT dropped back to be last on the markers, moved away from the inside at the 800m and trailed into the race (1-2) before coming out four horses wide on the home turn. She jogged home down the outside to win easily. JOYONYMOUS (Bitobliss – Missonymous) trailed the leader and used the sprint lane to pick up second in front of INTEREST ME, which settled four back on the inside before angling onto the back of LUNAR DELIGHT in the straight. She never peeled to the outside of the winner at any stage in the straight and seemed to have plenty in reserve. PENNY ANNE was three back on the markers, moved into the death seat at the 600m and hit the front at the 300m before being collared in the straight. She finished fourth in front of COOKS CANVAS (Artistic Fella – Invasion Day 2.2.5, $4,844) (5 back markers) and ENCRYPTION (6 back markers, 1-1 from 600m). The early leader ITS BLUE FOR BOYS dropped out to run last of the seven runners.

Mile Rate: - 2.1.6            Final Half: - 59.9               Margins: - 4m, 1m

Trial 2: - BRALLOS PASS showed good early speed and was without cover momentarily before working to the lead shortly after the start. He was able to hold off a determined challenge from SHOSHONE BRAVE in the straight. It was a handy performance by SHOSHONE BRAVE as he settled down fifth on the inside, moved into the one out and one back trail at the 700m before switching back to the inside and using the sprint lane over the final stages. DIVINE DIVA settled three back on the inside, moved up without cover from the 700m and went to the line under a strong hold. Considering the winner and the second horse are both very high on the National Ratings scale, her effort was extremely promising. TRENDY BROMAC settled sixth on the markers, moved into the one wide line (1-2) and worked home well with something in reserve, finishing fourth ahead of WILLEM, which settled down at the tail and never peeled to the outside at any stage. MONASH led out, took a trail behind BRALLOS PASS and finished sixth ahead of ALLMIGHTYJOELOUIS, which was the fourth horse on the markers in the early stages of the event.

Mile Rate: - 1.59.2          Final Half: - 56.4               Margins: - Head, 1m

Trial 3: - ITSARAPT was able to score from three back on the markers and he was never fully extended so it was a good performance. CMON CARL LEE was able to fire to the lead in the early stages but he pulled very hard in the run, which was detrimental to his finishing kick. He finished second ahead of DANCES, which settled four back on the inside. LIKE A SUNBEAM trailed the leader but started trotting very roughly half way down the back straight on the final occasion and eventually galloped with 500m remaining. She beat home AHMARRA QUEEN (Great Success – Ahm Shere 2.7.0, $22,650), which began in second but galloped 100m after the start and was tailed off for the remainder of the trial.

Mile Rate: - 2.8.2            Final Half: - 60.9               Margins: - 2m, 8m

Trial 4: - WANDANA DEBSPREAD (Alta Christiano – Georgia Cracker) was in the one out and one back trail and was shuffled back a little before the final bend before coming out four horses wide on the home turn and running home strongly to record a soft win. GIANNIS AY MACRAY was three back on the markers early before being shuffled back one position further, got away from the inside approaching the home turn and came out three horses wide into the straight. He was no match for the winner but finished off reasonably well. SMILES showed gate speed to lead early before taking a trail and ending up being three back on the inside. She used the sprint lane to finish third in front of DAYBREAK DRAMA, which ran home well out wide on the track from last. AMARANDA was without cover early, pushed forward to lead at the 1800m, took a trail shortly afterwards and moved away from the inside at the 500m mark. She battled into fifth in front of CONCORDE DAWN (trailed leader early, led 1600m), DURANTEE (Majestic Son – Nirvana Castle) (slow out, 1-2) and ROWANROLLMILLAR (without cover, hung in).

Mile Rate: - 2.4.4            Final Half: - 60.6               Margins: - 2m, 2m

Trial 5: - OUTLOOK (Art Major – Vista Bella $110,021) trailed the leader for the majority of the trip and came to the outside from the 300m to start his winning run. He got the better of the early leader MACRAY GLORY (Sportswriter – Schonbrunn 1.58.5, $79,823) and was able to win in slow time. MACRAY GLORY held on for second after trying to lead throughout with ONE TWO MANY (Captaintreacherous – Always Lacking 1.56.4, $23,515) in third position after settling fifth on the markers and using the sprint lane without being pushed over the final stages. FREYJA (Betterthancheddar – Miss Feelgood 2.1.5, $8,748) was fourth after being three back on the markers throughout and beat home BUNDLE OF NOTES (Roll With Joe – Hope Riley 1.56.7, $23,460), which trailed him all of the way and the trotter ROSHAMBO (I’m Stately – Bacardi Jade) starting yielding ground from six at the 500m mark.

Mile Rate: - 2.7.4            Final Half: - 59.7               Margins: - 3m, 1m

MARYBOROUGH 17/05/20

Trial 1: - TRACER BULLET was slowly away and settled down in fourth position. He was held up for a run approaching the home corner but gained a clear passage and quickly accelerated to run past his rivals and get the prize. EMERGING TALENT settled three back on the markers, moved away from the inside at the 600m and battled on well for second with the wayward ADELAIDE BAY in third position. He hit the mobile at the start, pushed forward to lead, broke stride at the 1700m, hung out and raced without cover, lost his compass and ran off the track at the 600m and ended up being out three horses wide. He has some ability but he has a few tricks. REALY UNDER FIRE finished last of the four runners after trailing the leader early, obtaining an inside run to drive through and find the front at the 600m mark and tiring late.

Mile Rate: - 2.1.1            Final Half: - 61.1               Margins: - 5m, 8m

Trial 2: - DEALERS KNOCK showed his usual gate speed to lead, rolled along at a reasonable tempo and scored comfortably over GET SMART MAX, which trailed him throughout. ANGELS BREATH settled last of the three runners and was never hard on the back of GET SMART MAX. She eventually lost contact with the other pair and finished a distant third.

Mile Rate: - 2.4.9            Final Half: - 59.4               Margins: - 5m, 20m

Trial 3: - SUTTER STAR began quickly but was out three horses wide early before progressing forward to find the lead at the 1600m and was able to score. He did want to hang in down the home straight however. IT’S A BORG showed good gate speed to run to the lead early, took a trail behind SUTTER STAR and finished in second. CARIJOY tried to hold the inside advantage from the pole position and used some energy early but ended up being three back on the markers. She finished third in front of MISS MORAINE, which was last of the four runners throughout.

Mile Rate: - 2.20.0?        Final Half: - 64.7               Margins: - 6m, 1m

Trial 4: - DON’T CARE (Used To Me – My Dreamweaver $33,763) trailed the leader and moved away from the markers with 300m remaining. He was quickly able to get the better of the leader IGNITING STRIDE (Peak – Rosemaryz Luck) and was able to score comfortably. IGNITING STRIDE was able to hold down second with LUCY SAWYER (Tennotrump – Annies Last 2.9.2, $4,508) being in third after breaking stride 100m after the start, losing approximately 50m then catching the group and moving off the markers at the half mile marker.

Mile Rate: - 2.8.2            Final Half: - 61.2               Margins: - 8m, 1.5m

Trial 5: - SAINT WIN (Art Major – Torridon 2.1.2, $39,325) trailed the leader and moved away from the inside on the home turn. He was able to sprint home too well and defeated GOELITZ (Roll With Joe – Jelly Belly 2.3.1, $4,815), which looked like it was going to trail the leader early but was able to burrow through and find the top. FINAL BOW (Bitobliss – Georgina Bow) settled down last of the five runners and was able to pick up a couple of runners late to finish a distant third. OUR LITTLE GODDESS (Art Major – Localize) settled in the one out and one back trail on the back of ABITOFDELIGHT (Bitobliss – Karim Vale 2.1.4, $4,463), switched back to the inside on the home turn and worked into fourth placing. ABITOFDELIGHT finished last after enduring the hardest run of any runner in the trial.

Mile Rate: - 2.5.3            Final Half: - 59.9               Margins: - 1m, 20m

Trial 6: - WHOS COUNTN was able to zoom to the lead in the early stages and set up a slow tempo. He was just able to hang on in the dash up the straight. SAMS A YANK (Muscles A Yankee – Flash and Flair) trailed the leader and moved away from the inside with 600m remaining. He made a big lunge on the line but just failed. CANADIAN ALM was racing keenly in last position, broke stride momentarily on the home turn and finished last of the three runners.

Mile Rate: - 2.11.4          Final Half: - 61.4               Margins: - Short Head, 20m

Trial 7: - KYVALLEY FRANK appeared to be well placed in the trial being an older trotter taking on the 2yos and 3yos. He trailed the leader in the first circuit, quickly circled around to find the lead in the back straight on the final occasion and proved to be superior in the run to the judge. LOVEE DOVEE (Love You – Sister of Sonoko 2.3.3, $14,103) settled four back on the markers, moved away from the inside at the 800m and did well to beat home the two 3yo trotters, albeit in slow time. TIARA STRIDE (Amore Stride – Nitengale Stride USA) led and trotted roughly at the 700m mark when challenged and ended up trailing KYVALLEY FRANK for the remainder of the trip. ECHO MAGIC (Pegasus Spur – Star of Jordaine 2.3.3, $67,658) finished last of the four after being three back on the markers throughout.

Mile Rate: - 2.15.5          Final Half: - 61.8                Margins: - 3m, head

TABCORP PARK, MELTON 19/05/20

Trial 1: - ILLAWONG BARMAH is a very talented juvenile trotter and recorded fast time in his victory over the wayward ONEOUTOFTHESQUARE. ONEOUTOFTHESQUARE led and pulled very hard, started to trot roughly at the half mile marker and eventually rolled into a gallop leaving ILLAWONG BARMAH a long way clear but the winner was still very impressive.

Mile Rate: - 2.2.8            Final Half: - 61.49    Margin: - 68.5m

Trial 2: - CAPTAIN WILSON (Captaintreacherous – Saabette 1.56.2, $34,378) settled three back on the markers in the early stages, moved away from the inside and progressed forward to find the lead at the 1200m then dominated the trial from that point. He raced very greenly but he scored easily with his ears pricked so there appears to be plenty of improvement left in him. RENDEZVOUS (Hes Watching – Libra Jaccka 1.59.7, $65,700) began quickly to lead early, took cover behind CAPTAIN WILSON and finished second with DREAMS ARE BETTOR (Artspeak – Delightfullybettor 1.56.9, $34,684) in third position after moving away from the markers from last at the 500m mark. ROYAL HART (Sir Lincoln (Lincoln Royal) – Miss Sweethart) pulled hard when four back on the markers and finished in fourth ahead of ROSE OF BEAUTY (Grinfromeartoear – Rose of Ederline), which showed gate speed but ended up being three back on the inside from the 1200m.

Mile Rate: - 2.4.6            Final Half: - 60.51    Margins: - 16.5m, ½ neck

Trial 3: - ILLAWONG STARDUST is an exciting trotter and will win a lot of races when she puts it altogether. She led early but was pressured so she took cover then wanted to get very keen before dashing away over the latter stages to win by a large margin. ALLENS DELIGHT ran a nice second after ending up being four back on the markers and manoeuvring away from the inside at the 600m. TZU NIEN was driven aggressively mid-race. He settled five back on the inside, moved away from the markers at the 1300m, pressured for the lead and got to the top at the bell. He broke stride with 100m remaining but ILLAWONG STARDUST was already off and gone. ZIGZAGZOO finished in fourth position after being five back on the inside from the bell. He beat home HAMMERS PEGASUS (Pegasus Spur – Sundonna), which galloped at the start, lost 15m and moved off the markers from sixth at the half mile marker. JADE NIEN trailed the leader before being shuffled back one position further when TZU NIEN made his move. She finished sixth with ALPINE SHIRE (Armbro Invasion – Midnight Maori 2.10.4, $4,156) being last of the seven after being checked by the galloping HAMMERS PEGASUS at the start and tailing out the back.

Mile Rate: - 2.1.2            Final Half: - 59.68    Margins: - 23m, 18m

Trial 4: - TREACHEROUS ROCK was a very impressive winner after he gained a nice run on the markers (4th early then 3rd), moved away from the inside on the turn and jogged down the straight to pick up his rivals easily. HEAVENLY GIPSY (Rock N Roll Heaven – Mach Robyn 1.59.2, $15,975) did show some ability after showing gate speed and trailing the leader. AZTERIAN (Sportswriter – Neishars Jet 2.1.9, $12,861) appeared to perform better when coming from off the speed a week earlier but she did show good gate speed and there was nothing wrong with her third placed effort as she set up a reasonable tempo. MERRY DANCER (Changeover – Lucky Merrywood 1.58.4, $51,128) finished a distant fourth after dropping back to be last of the six runners and moving away from the markers at the 900m mark. She gained a one out and one back trail at the 600m. LET GO MARSHALL settled three back on the markers and moved away from the inside half way down the back straight. He finished fifth ahead of PLAIN ED (Heston Blue Chip – Shalackin 1.56.8, $27,125) (5 back markers).

Mile Rate: - 2.0.8            Final Half: - 58.48    Margins: - 2.5m, 1.5m

BLACKBOOKER: - Treacherous Rock

Trial 5: - SUCCESS COUNTS trailed the leader DOUG in a slowly run trial and sprinted sharply at the end to win comfortably in what was just a 200m dash up the straight. MAJESTIC DREAM was last of the three runners throughout and lost a little bit of ground late.

Mile Rate: - 2.5.8            Final Half: - 59.99    Margins: - 1.5m, 11.5m

Trial 6: - ADMIRAL trailed the leader, moved away from the inside on the home turn and finished off well to score. STEFNOLI came from three back on the markers to finish in second position with COCOSFELLA, which galloped away at Melton last week, beginning safely then jogging around behind them in third position. FIRE UP FRANCO began quickly to lead early but was gunned down late and finished last of the four runners.

Mile Rate: - 2.3.5            Final Half: - 57.92    Margins: - 3.5m, 7m

Trial 7: - RADICAL MAJOR was without cover in the early stages before progressing forward to find the lead at the 1800m mark. He set up a reasonable tempo and was able to hold his rivals safely at bay. ROCKINGWITHSIERRA settled six back on the markers, was giving the leader a big start when she angled out three horses wide from the 400m and sprinted quickly to get to second. She probably just peaked in the final 50m but it was a good effort and she should be better from the run. LA PUDDIE (Somebeachsomewhere – La Machane 1.54.6, $335,268) began quickly to lead, took a trail and ran through the middle late. She went to the line without being extended and finished a close third. URGOODBOY settled three back on the markers and finished fourth ahead of PIPPO NIEN, which trailed him throughout. KRATOS POWER (Well Said – Virtuosy) was last of the seven runners and came to the outside with 700m remaining. He picked up some ground in the back straight but ended up finishing sixth with JOHNNY YURO (back markers, death seat at 500m) dropping out to run last.

Mile Rate: - 2.0.6            Final Half: - 58.69    Margins: - 2m, ½ head

Trial 8: - DAWNS PEACH settled five back on the markers and made up ground quickly to get to second when she moved off the markers with 700m remaining. She was able to dash away at the turn and scored nicely in the end. FISCAL FANTASY dropped back to last, was held up badly for a run and when she gained a clear passage DAWNS PEACH was already away for the prize. She came out very wide on the home turn and finished quickly, without being pushed out to the line, for an eye-catching second. HEERA RANI was the fourth horse following the markers pegs and angled out three horses wide from the 400m mark. She finished third in front of BRAD CULLEN, which trailed the leader early, was shuffled back one position further mid-race and came away from the markers at the quarter pole. ZUKO DREAM was without cover early then progressed to the lead at the 1700m. He beat home MISTER PARMESAN, which led out and took a trail behind him.

Mile Rate: - 2.3.4            Final Half: - 61.87    Margins: - 11.5m, 9.5m

BLACKBOOKER: - Fiscal Fantasy

Trial 9: - MANTHADEE appeared to be well placed in the standing start trial being a National Ratings 67 assessed pacer taking on the trotters. She settled fourth on the markers and approximately 30m behind the leader and started her winning run with 300m remaining. OVERANDOUT proved to be just as efficient from the standing start as he is from behind the mobile as he jumped straight to the lead. He did trot very roughly in the final 50m when he was being overtaken by MANTHADEE, which is a little bit of a concern leading up to his effort on Saturday morning. ROI DU SOLEIL is showing some ability but is still learning. He was slow to begin, raced three back on the markers and pulled very hard throughout but still managed to hold down third. BACARDI CHARDY was in a nice position behind the leader but started trotting very roughly at the 500m and lost momentum. She beat home DIEGO DELGADO (Union Guy – Miss Earl) (5 back markers) and COLUMBIAS DEECEE (Bacardi Lindy – Columbias Gindin 2.6.3, $41,475) (stepped in 4th, raced roughly and lost ground).

Mile Rate: - 2.9.5            Final Half: - 60.92    Margins: - 2.5m, 7.5m

Trial 10: - SANGREAL (Father Patrick – Solar Flash 2.1.0, $6,765) trailed the leader, moved away from the markers at the 600m and raced greenly but was able to get the better of MEADOWVALLEY LOVER over the latter stages. THE SARGENT (Skyvalley – Redneck) broke stride and was tailed off hence he came in a distant last of the three runners.

Mile Rate: - 2.10.9          Final Half: - 60.41    Margins: - 2.5m, 462m

KILMORE 19/05/20

Trial 1: - STIR ME UP (Auckland Reactor – Magical Sue) trailed the leader and obtained an inside run when he drove through to take out the opening the trial of the day. DEVIL OF A SMILE (Devilish Smile – Hilton Dream 2.1.6, $38,269) attempted to lead all of the way but raced greenly on the home turn and hung out. He couldn’t regather momentum after STIR ME UP shot through on his inside and he had to be content with second placing. BUBBA MARTIN (Betterthancheddar – Rock Melody 2.2.6, $19,300) broke stride in the score up and missed approximately 60m at the start so he did a good job to finish as close as he did, albeit in slow time.

Mile Rate: - 2.6.6            Final Half: - 59.5               Margins: - 5m, 8m

Trial 2: - WONDERFORCE showed good gate speed to find the lead, backed off the tempo mid-race and was able to hold off the challenge of STARLIGHT SAFARI in the latter stages. STARLIGHT SAFARI began well and trailed the leader before using the sprint lane. He finished nicely but just failed to peg back WONDERFORCE in the dash to the line. KING SOLOMON settled last of the four runners and was able to get through along the inside of PADDY MACH on the home turn to roll into third position. PADDY MACH came away from the markers from third on the home turn and battled on fairly in the home straight.

Mile Rate: - 2.3.7            Final Half: - 58.6               Margins: - Head, 4m

Trial 3: - SONNYBOY (Majestic Son – Sullanders Pride) began very quickly and dashed to a big lead in the early stages. He ran along at a genuine tempo and produced a handy first half. He got a lot slower in the final half (67.8) but he was able to maintain his lead in the run to the post. KYVALLEY HACIENDA (Andover Hall – Kyvalley Lilly) was slow away and settled down a clear last early. He was able to get up to second before breaking stride in the latter stages but he was able to remain in second position over the line. LUNA (Used To Me – Auravalley) trailed the leader throughout and ended up being last of the three runners.

Mile Rate: - 2.10.7          Final Half: - 67.8               Margins: - 2m, 15m

Trial 4: - The open class trotter KHEIRON began brilliantly and was able to storm to the lead in the early stages. He set up a reasonable tempo and was able to dominate his rivals, winning comfortably. MEA CULPA appeared to have his chance after showing gate speed and trailing the leader throughout. IM THE MIGHTYGRAMPS settled three back on the markers and finished in third position ahead of ANDRES (Rock N Roll Heaven – Albertique 1.59.1, $94,620), which produced a good performance after he struck bother at the start and missed a lot of ground early before tacking on at the 1400m. CASINO BARRY (Heston Blue Chip – 1.59.7, $31,715) settled five back on the inside and was able to run past GUNNER GARDNER (Courage Under Fire – Foxy Roxy Rita) (4 back markers) over the latter stages.

Mile Rate: - 2.0.9            Final Half: - 58.0               Margins: - 5m, 6m

Trial 5: - FEAR THE YANKEE trailed the leader and moved up without cover from the 800m mark. She was the class runner of the trial being a former Super Series winner and she was able to edge clear at the end. HEY LISTEN (Crazed – Catchya Maya) is showing a lot of promise for trainer Dominic Schembri. He won a trial at Kilmore a week earlier and he came from three back on the markers to chase a handy type in FEAR THE YANKEE, beating the remainder of the field by a large margin. STAR MACEY finished a distant third after galloping early and giving away a start and KEEPING IT CLASSY was last of the four runners after setting the speed.

Mile Rate: - 2.7.2            Final Half: - 62.1               Margins: - 4m, 30m

Trial 6: - KNOW REPLY (Heston Blue Chip – That’s All Right 1.59.9, $24,127) settled fifth on the markers and came out wide into the straight. She produced a good finish out wide on the track to score comfortably. PEARLESCENT trailed the leader and came away from the inside at the 600m mark. She wasn’t extended going to the line and was able to pick up second. SON OF ZODIAC (Artistic Fella – Lombo Quick Step 1.58.4, $33,795) tried to lead throughout and was staging a good battle with PEARLESCENT until KNOW REPLY arrived on the scene. COURTNEY KATARINA settled 4 back on the markers and was able to drive though and trail the leader on the home turn before using the sprint lane to finish in fourth. JAZZY BAY (Heston Blue Chip – Jazzy Art 1.57.4, $62,763) settled down in last position and picked up GIGIS GRINNER, which was racing three back on the inside, moved away from the markers at the 600m and broke stride.

Mile Rate: - 2.4.1            Final Half: - 61.4               Margins: - 4m, Nose

Trial 7: - ERO CARPE DIEM was third on the markers in the early stages, moved around to trail the leader at the mile marker and proved too strong for the juvenile trotter ALDEBARAN TAKARA (Trixton – Aldebaran Turnpike USA 1.59.6, $20,625) in the run to the finish. ALDEBARAN TAKARA was in front of ERO CARPE DIEM early before losing his spot and dropping back to third on the markers mid-race. AMOUR FRATERNELLE (Repeat Love – Mybrotherwasastar) began slowly from the handicap of 30m and was tailed off early. He did a lot of chasing and made up good ground on the leaders, finishing in third. ASTRO (Love You – Auravale 2.8.2, $30,650) stepped to the front and was untroubled in the first circuit but he broke stride when the bell sounded and lost 35m. He tried to chase and came away from the markers but galloped again on the home turn. He does have speed but his manners have let him down at the trials thus far.

Mile Rate: - 2.11.3          Final Half: 63.8                 Margins: - 15m, 25m

SHEPPARTON 19/05/20

Trial 1: - FREYJA (Betterthancheddar – Miss Feelgood 2.1.5, $8,748) trailed the leader, came to the outside in the straight and finished off too well. MADE TO ROCK set the speed and fought on reasonably well in the straight but found FREYJA to be too slick. HAVELOCK (Major In Art – Blissfull Mood 1.59.2, $37,991) was slow to move and was last of the three runners throughout, starting to yield ground from the 500m mark.

Mile Rate: - 2.4.6            Final Half: - 60.3               Margins: - 1m, 50m

Trial 2: - ORBIE settled three back on the outside, came out three horses wide to dash around the field and find the lead at the 1200m and was able to keep the momentum going to win the trial comfortably. She did want to hang out in the home straight however. DEL PORT began well to find the lead at the 1600m. He did want to race keenly and became a little fierce mid-race, particularly when ORBIE took the lead away from him but he kicked on okay in the straight for second. DAYBREAK DRAMA was either in the one out and one back trail or the death seat in the run where he did and didn’t have cover on several occasions mid-race. He was holding his own late and finished third. SMILES led early, took cover behind DEL PORT and ended up being three back on the markers when ORBIE found the lead on the 1200m corner. She finished in fourth ahead of LONDON LADY (shuffled back on the markers) and MISSMETRO (1-1,1-2,1-1). DURANTEE (Majestic Son – Nirvana Castle) broke at the start and was tailed off early then was retired from the trial.

Mile Rate: - 2.0.9            Final Half: - 58.7               Margins: - 8m, 4m

Trial 3: - BRALLOS PASS was clearly the class runner of the field and he scored softly. He settled last of the four runners, moved up without cover from the 700m and was able to edge past the early leader LETSROCKLETSROLL to win narrowly over that pacer but with seemingly more in reserve. MONASH trailed the leader and finished third in front of ALLMIGHTYJOELOUIS (3 back markers).

Mile Rate: - 2.1.2            Final Half: - 58.3               Margins: - Neck, 8m

Trial 4: - JOYONYMOUS (Bitobliss – Missonymous) showed gate speed and led before losing her compass and running off the track with 1200m remaining. She recovered and was able to get down onto the markers in front shortly afterwards. She held on in the run to the finish and scored narrowly. WANDANAS DEBSPREAD (Alta Christiano – Georgia Cracker) settled fifth on the markers, moved into the one out and one back trail at the bell and finished hard out wider on the track. SEASONG was six back on the markers before moving up without cover from the bell. She boxed on well for third. GONE AND FORGOTTEN trailed the leader and winner JOYONYMOUS and finished in fourth position ahead of JUST RALPH, which showed gate speed, angled on to the markers to be three back then paced roughly at the 600m mark. The trotter DYNAMIC LEGACY was seventh early before moving into the one wide line (1-2) just after the bell. He finished sixth in front of COUNT BACARDI (ninth the markers), MY MATE COL (Rock N Roll Heaven – Nightn Georgia 2.0.4, $116,605) (eighth the markers) and ONE MORE NO MORE (fourth the markers).
