The OG Monday Metrospective panel was back together with Jason Bonnington and Nikkita Ross reviewing the Bendigo program from Saturday night.
Three horses were added to the blackbook, which has produced plenty of winners over the past few weeks. Metropolitan racing will return to Tabcorp Park Melton next Saturday following a month at regional venues.

HERE ARE THIS WEEK’S BLACKBOOK ADDITIONS:
R1 N7 DESSIE GEE
JB: Bounced off a sub-par performance at his previous outing and simply owned inferior rivals from the top end. This is the real Dessie Gee, and the real Dessie Gee is high quality.
R3 N6 TORRID SAINT
JB: Has weapons and looks ready to win third-up with the right gate. Ripper horse that doesn’t sit too far behind the genuine big guns when draws and circumstances play in his favour.
NR: His first-up run was good and his effort on Saturday night was everything you could have asked for given the circumstances of the race. Should he draw favourably in coming starts he will be right among the winning chances.
R8 N7 JOANNA
NR: She went to a new level during her three-year-old season and her first-up run this campaign appeared to be right where she left off. To sit outside one of the most in-form mares in the country and dig deep the whole way up the straight to be beaten two metres was a brave effort. With her versatility she looks like she will be in for another big preparation.
