OVERVIEW: JAYS ALL THAT (3) led out then took cover but broke stride with 150m remaining when eighth in a heat of the Supers Series last outing. He lost his chance to qualify for the Final but he has since scored in a Bacchus Marsh trial effort on Saturday so he is worth another chance. HALLEBESOFINE (1) was headed off at the start and didn’t have much luck in a heat of the Super Series last outing. She is a bold front running type and will take beating here if she can hold a forward position at the start. VAN NOSTRAND (5) settled midfield and finished off best to defeat Farstar at Shepparton last outing. He is a nicely bred trotter, that is showing ability and looms as one of the leading chances again. NORTHERN TRUSCOTT (2) and WHAT THE TOOTH (7) are both capable of showing up without surprising.
