OVERVIEW: TELERN LOFTY (9) came through the fastest heat and carried extra merit considering he was first up from a break and won with a bit of authority despite the small field. With added fitness and a soft trailing draw he shapes as the one to beat.
OUR ART WORK (2) was able to lead and win the Mildura heat and it looks the same set-up for him to find the top again over the short trip. OOH AH LISTAH (10) won the other Bendigo heat and has found some consistent form this preparation, going for a hat-trick. SKYFALL BENCHMARK (5) was well supported when he led in Telern Lofty’s race but had every chance; however, he warrants respect.
