THE LADYBIRD (3) is first up from a break and hasn’t been to the trials but she showed enough ability last preparation to warrant respect. ROBERT CROCKA (9) pushed forward to find the lead and battled on fairly well for third at Mildura on September 23. He is a speedy pacer and should be finding the line strongly. WHITESTARCHRISTIAN (1) and HES A MODERN BOY (7) both have claims from their inside draw.
