STARVIN MARVIN (2) was held up for a run at a vital stage and finished off solidly for fourth at Mildura last week. He is racing consistently and looms as one of the leading chances again. FLAME BLASTER (8) gained a nice trail and finished off well for second behind Illustrious last outing. He has the perfect trailing draw and should be competitive again. DAYLIGHT (1) faces a steep rise in class on her past two victories but she possesses early speed and she is drawn to receive every chance so she must be respected.
