OVERVIEW: ATA RANGI (5) is much better than his form reads and should be competitive under these conditions. He wasn’t beaten by far despite finishing eighth in a heat of the Super Series then ran into a dead-end when a luckless seventh behind War Dan Buddy in a semi-final. MY LITTLE BO (11) delivered an outstanding performance after working hard on the outside of the leader when she scored in a sizzling mile rate of 1.51.6 at Wagga last outing. She finished fifth in the Victoria Oaks in October so she has the class to test this field. STARZZZ DESTINY (7) is resuming since an unplaced effort at Melton in April. She was runner up behind the classy pacer Calexico during her last campaign and was also a narrow second in a mile rate of 1.52.5 so she is not to be underestimated. She did finish second at a Bendigo trial effort on Monday night. ALL BLAZING GUNS (6) is resuming since a fourth at Hamilton in July but he has been placed at a recent Terang trial performance and he has the speed to be in the finish.

OVERVIEW: RAKAJED (10) is a very strong pacer, which has been racing in good form. He was driven aggressively from a poor draw when he scored at Menangle two starts ago then took on the elite pacers in the Bidgee Classic won by Captains Knock at Wagga. He prefers to race close to the pace so the second line draw is a disadvantage but he is too good to dismiss. TWISTING BY (6) possesses a powerful finishing burst and will take holding out in the run to the finish. He was a big winner in a mile rate of 1.53.8 two starts ago then was placed behind the classy pacer Petracca last time out. DESSIE GEE (9) endured a tough trip when fifth behind Pesci at Bendigo last outing. He is a versatile pacer and is usually competitive against this class so he is worth following. DHAULAGIRI (11) missed away and lost his chance at Geelong last outing. His form prior was very strong including a second in the South Australian Cup and a win in the St Arnaud Cup so he is worth another chance.

OVERVIEW: MY UNCLE STAN (9) gained the perfect trip and finished off best via the sprint lane to score at Geelong last week. He possesses a powerful finishing burst and this race is no stronger so he should prove hard to beat. STRAPPING RED (6) is a fast beginner and recorded successive victories at Cranbourne and Melton in October. She followed through along the sprint lane behind MY UNCLE STAN (9) and finished just as well as the winner last week so she must be considered as a winning chance. CRIME WRITER (3) hasn’t been at his best form for some time but his last run was encouraging. He progressed forward to get up without cover and battled on strongly for fifth (6m) in the race won by MY UNCLE STAN (9). JACCKA CONNOR (2) also contested the same race last week and he didn’t have much luck in the run to the finish so he is not without a chance.

OVERVIEW: HES FROM HEAVEN (5) has been freshened since failing to finish at Melton on October 18 and has since joined trainer Lisa Pitt. He won a Bendigo trial over the subsequent open class winner Dangerous in fast time so a bold showing is expected. BULLETPROOF BOY (8) is the class runner of the field but is very awkwardly drawn. He finished off boldly when a big second behind Dangerous in a mile rate of 1.51.2 last outing and he defeated the champion pacer Leap To Fame in the Smoken Up Sprint on October 11. TRIPLE EIGHT (6) finished off strongly via the sprint lane when third behind Dangerous last outing. He has been a terrific competitor at this level for many seasons and is worth a ticket each way. SMOKEN ACE (2), BETTOR ISOLATE (4) and the strong performer HOT DEAL (9) are all capable of showing up without surprising.

OVERVIEW: WAR DAN BUDDY (1) was beaten by his main rival MIKI TO SUCCESS (9) at Bendigo two starts ago but the barrier draw is reversed this evening so he can turn the tables. He progressed forward to find the lead and dominated his rivals when he won his semi-final of this series last week. MIKI TO SUCCESS (9) is racing in peak form and is capable of completing five wins in succession. He was a brilliant winner of the South Australian Cup three starts ago and he overcame a brief mid-race error to win his semi-final in fast time last week. OUR ROCKER (11) was checked when MIKI TO SUCCESS (9) broke stride mid-race and he made a lot of ground when an eye-catching fourth last week. His overall form is sound and he should be hitting the line strongly. DEE ROE (4) is a versatile pacer and produced a strong performance for second last week. He has claims along with ALOT LIKE LOUIE (3) and SIR JIMMY (6).

OVERVIEW: KISS (1) lacks early pace so she is likely to be headed off at the start but she is clearly the class runner of the field. She was crossed at the start in her semi-final effort but was able to angle into the clear early and overcame a tough trip to score impressively. SWEET IDEAL (3) began quickly to lead but over-raced badly so she did a terrific job to kick on as well as she did when beaten on the line last week. She is a speedy mare and boasts a strong record so she must be considered as one of the leading chances. THE ANSWER (10) sprinted sharply to snare victory on the line last week. She has performed extremely well in all of her three starts since returning from New South Wales and should be competitive again. SWEETNIKKILOU (13) led and was outstayed by KISS (1) last week but her overall form is sound and she cannot be underestimated. EUREKA JO (11) performed well for third after enduring a tough run on the outside of the leader last week and is not without a chance.

OVERVIEW: MITCHELL WRAP (1) has been placed in all of his three starts back from a spell and is drawn to receive every chance. He finished off nicely for third behind the in-form trotter Imperial Command last week. DICHOTOMY (8) is the class runner of the field but she has made a few errors recently. She broke stride twice in the run and lost her chance last week but she would take beating if she delivers a fool proof display. KYVALLEYHONEYBUNNY (5) is a speedy mare and is racing consistently. She was placed in a slick mile rate of 1.55.9 two starts ago so she must be considered as one of the leading chances. ALDEBARAN BROOKE (3) and RINGER WELLS (7) are both racing well enough to feature prominently.

OVERVIEW: OLLIVICI (8) bounced back to his best form with an easy victory at Melton on November 08 when he led throughout from the mobile start. He drops back to the handicap of 30m now but he boasts an excellent standing start record and he looms as a strong winning chance. KEAYANG STUKA (6) had his chance behind OLLIVICI (8) last time out but he is much better handicapped this evening and he is a proven winner from the standing start so he could turn the tables. IM BOBBY (7) was in great form at the end of his last campaign having won seven races in succession. He was spelled after being unplaced in the Menangle Cup in September and he will take beating if he is somewhere near his peak form. IMPERIAL COMMAND (4) has been in great form from the mobile start and is a winning chance again if he is able to step away safely.

RATINGS: 6,8/ 7/ 4/ 2,3
OVERVIEW: SIX NATIONS (8) was beaten by a narrow margin behind Imperial Command (won several times since) when resuming, broke stride and lost his chance second up then produced a big performance when a close second behind Keayang Lavita in a sizzling mile rate of 1.55.6 at Maryborough. He has returned from a spell in outstanding form and is close to a win. PREFERRED LOVE (2) chased home the champion mare Keayang Zahara in both a heat and the Final of the Super Series at her past two attempts. She is versatile and will appreciate competing in a field of less depth so she must be considered as one of the leading chances. FAITH FULL (3) is stepping up in class from her latest victory but she possesses early speed and has had a brilliant season having won nine races so she is worth thought again. MAJESTIC TOOTH (4) showed good gate speed from a handy draw and battled on well for second last outing. She is worth thought along with NAKEDTRUTH (5) and LITTLE YANKEE (7).
