OVERVIEW: WAR DAN BUDDY (1) was beaten by his main rival MIKI TO SUCCESS (9) at Bendigo two starts ago but the barrier draw is reversed this evening so he can turn the tables. He progressed forward to find the lead and dominated his rivals when he won his semi-final of this series last week. MIKI TO SUCCESS (9) is racing in peak form and is capable of completing five wins in succession. He was a brilliant winner of the South Australian Cup three starts ago and he overcame a brief mid-race error to win his semi-final in fast time last week. OUR ROCKER (11) was checked when MIKI TO SUCCESS (9) broke stride mid-race and he made a lot of ground when an eye-catching fourth last week. His overall form is sound and he should be hitting the line strongly. DEE ROE (4) is a versatile pacer and produced a strong performance for second last week. He has claims along with ALOT LIKE LOUIE (3) and SIR JIMMY (6).
