One TAB punter landed a good wager to close Saturday night’s blockbuster A. G. Hunter Cup/Great Southern Star meeting at Melton Entertainment Park.
The customer placed a $5000 bet on Michael Stanley-trained Soho Americano before he charged home to win the Garrards 3YO Gold Chalice.
The bet returned $17,500 and was one of the big collects on Victorian harness racing with the TAB last week.
