Punters say it’s Major Moth over Act Now in one of the headline battles of tonight’s TAB Breeders Crown finals, when champions of the track will cross swords for a share in $1.46 million.
The VHRC Caduceus clash for two-year-old colts and geldings’ again shapes as a leading Group 1, with Major Moth (gate one) and Act Now (gate two) looming large.
Punters have had their say, with Major Moth shortening from $2.10 to $1.70 with TAB.com.au off a string of four-figure bets, while Act Now has blown out from $3 to $3.80.
Punters also threw their weight behind Loorrim Lake, with the Emma Stewart runner backed in from $9 to $5, including a $500 each-way play.
Others to carry favour include Aldebaran Zeus in the Aldebaran Park two-year-old trotting colts and geldings’ division. TAB have written tickets for five bets over $500 for Brent Lilley’s trotter, part of a wave of support that’s seen him shortern from $4 to $3.30
Program book ends Lochinvar Art ($1.80 into $1.70) and Our Princess Tiffany ($4.20 into $2.50) have also won support, with the latter attracting successive four-figure bets.
