Brittany Graham’s outpouring of emotion upon learning she’d secured a spot in the SENTrack Inter Dominion Trotting Championship Grand Final will be one of the everlasting moments of this year’s series, but it’s now down to business for the Queensland reinswoman as she prepares for the biggest race of her career.

Graham will drive Majestic Harry in Saturday night’s Group 1, with the pair to leave from the back row after securing barrier 10 in the draw.

The five-year-old gelding has been sent forward and raced handy to the speed in all three of his heat runs, but Graham seems likely to take a different approach this weekend.

“It’s just awesome to be apart of it to be honest,” Graham said.

“We’ve had to use him in the three heats so far and he’s gone well, but that has to take something out of them over the concluding stages when you’re burning as hard as I made him on Saturday night (in Geelong).

“It’s a good draw, a good draw for his chances. We’re under no illusion that we’re up against it, but we’re there so that’s awesome.”

As she has done throughout the ID22 series, Graham will combine her commitments as a driver on Saturday night with her full-time job as a presenter with Sky Racing.

“When I get out there I’m a terrible loser and a not much better winner because there’s always ways that you can improve,” she said.

“It’s the job. You’ve got to go out there and do the best thing for your horse and that’s what I’m here for. I’m not here for fun, I’m here to try and win.”

Majestic Harry joined the Graham family operation in Queensland late last year after he was purchased from New Zealand. He has won eight races in Australia, with his triumph in the Group 2 Spring Sprint at Albion Park on November 12 securing a golden ticket into the ID22 series.

Brittany's sister Stephanie has taken over training duties of the horse through his Victorian campaign.
