CMON CARL LEE (11) has been trialling like we will see the very best version of him and I though FROM THE WEST (6) was very good last time so we can build some trifectas around that pair in what should be a high risk, high rewards proposition.

11/1,2,4,10/6 for $10 gets 250%

AMOUR MATERNAL (12) was most impressive last time and despite the fact this is an even race, she looms the each-way value if she can navigate the early traffic.

SUGGESTED BET: $10 Each Way on Amour Maternal (12) at $6 or better.

ENHANCE YOUR CALM (8) deserves to be the most prohibitive favourite of the day and with no clear path to enticing trifectas or first fours, we’ll watch and learn here.

SUGGESTED BET: Nothing Significant.

There has already been good early support for MEYDAN (2) but I like the way he finished off despite the error last time and while he’s starting to close in on his right price, he’s still a value prospect here.

SUGGESTED BET: $10 Each Way on Meydan (2) at $5 or better.

NO BIGGIE (5) is a pretty smart type in the making but has come up short in the market. I preferred SULTAN SASS (8) and at the price, on a day of each-way plays, she’s well in the hitting zone at a generous price.

SUGGESTED BET: $10 Each Way on Sultan Sass (8) at $6 or better.

SLEEPEE (1) is on the quick back-up here but her las two wins suggest from the inside draw she’s clearly the one to beat, I thought BULLION LADY (9) and PEREGRINE PHOENIX (2) were the two threats but the market has also singled out EMERALD STRIDE (8). I’m happy to sit this one out and just hope we are alive in Early Quaddies.

SUGGESTED BET: Nothing Significant.

The formlines are fairly well set here but a lot will depend on the speed map. If SAMMY SHOWDOWN (4) can hold them into the first bend, I think he’s capable of bouncing back and at the price, it’s worth finding out.

SUGGESTED BET: $15 Win on Sammy Showdown (4) at $4 or better.

MEXICANA (8) has looked uber impressive in her past two Kiwi wins but in a big standing start feature for the two-year-old’s, there doesn’t look to be heaps of juice in the market.

SUGGESTED BET: Nothing Significant.

I was hopeful CLAUDYS PRINCE (11) would come up a price here and he has. He’s third-up, has put in two luckless runs and is ready to peak. He’s the best bet of the day.

SUGGESTED BET: $25 Each Way on Claudys Prince (11) at $5 or better.

PINK GALAHS (6) is so far in the zone at the minute that it’s impossible to play around her. If RED WHITE AN BLOOM (4) heads off those drawn inside then he’s a super place chance but he has been well supported already. POWDERKEG (12) was massive in the stronger of the heats and can’t be disrespected for exotic punters.

QUEEN OF CRIME (5) stamped herself even in defeat in the Oaks and provided nothing out of the ordinary occurs today, this really does look her race.

SUGGESTED BET: $35 Win on Queen Of Crime (5) at $2.20 or better.

QUERENCIA (9) and/or UNCLE AL (11) might be value plays if they get out to a silly price late but being a heat into final affair, the form lines are pretty well established here.
