Ryan Phelan's tips, strategy and Quaddie for the 7-race Cup program at Wangaratta Sunday night.

R1 – 6:39pm – Len Canny Memorial Wangaratta Pace - 2210m

1 – Allheartnoheight

4 – Northern Terror

8 – Time After Time

3 – Rolling Remona

R2 – 7:11pm – Michael Carey Tribute Pace (3rd Ht.) – 2210m

3 – Epic Orion

7 – Witchita Kansas

4 – Arraps

6 – Art On Fire

Epic Orion hasn’t had the best of luck with draws this season and now gets an advantageous map to break through. There’s speed inside which normally takes cover, so I’m hoping he can muster quick enough to keep Arraps wide. If he can find the top, will take some catching.

BACK: 3 Epic Orion – 1 Unit (win)

R3 – 7:46pm – West Side Tavern Wangaratta Maiden Pace – 2210m

2 – Totally Stunning

6 – Watermain Lady

4 – Treacherous Jewel

7 – Sneaky Philtra

Totally Stunning I have been with her past few starts, and I think I’m prepared to forgive her form with some luckless outings. She may be able to find the front from the handy draw and if she does will take some catching.

BACK: 2 Totally Stunning – 1 Unit (win)

R4 – 8:21pm – Yarrawonga Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Wangaratta Pacing Cup – 2210m

12 – Big Bad Ossie

3 – Ivana Bytheseaside

11 – Hittheroadjack

8 – Tizzy Lizzie

Big Bad Ossie looks very well suited here dropping back from a much tougher assignment at Melton behind a smart one. His form prior was very good, particularly his 2nd behind the talented Sirlou in the Cobram Cup. The draw hurts, but Ryan Sanderson is a talented driver to get him into the race at the right time.

BACK: 12 Big Bad Ossie – 3 Units (win)

R5 – 8:55pm – Reflex Glass / J&T Joinery Wangaratta Trotters Cup – 2210m

4 – Frosty Girl

9 – Paris Kay

1 – Abitofadreamer

2 – Noble Count

Frosty Girl is on the short back up from Wednesday night here, and although she went down as a short favourite, she was far from disgraced. Her form prior was very good, and she gets a suitable field and positive map to return to the winner’s circle.

BACK: 4 Frosty Girl – 3 Units (win)

R6 – 9:20pm – APCO Wangaratta Pace – 2210m

2 – The Irishman

3 – Eagle Major

7 – Luverboy

4 – Sophies Scooter

R7 – 9:45pm – Yarrawonga Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Trot (2nd Ht.) – 2210m

1 – Lizzies Son

4 – Van Doren

3 - Chinski

6 – Kalarney Prince

Lizzies Son is worth sticking with here on the strength of his effort at Shepparton on Tuesday. He showed a very good turn of foot at the end of his race there to win well. I suspect on that effort he responds well to new driver Mark Pitt which is a plus.

BACK: 1 Lizzies Son – 2 Units (win)

** A betting unit is typically a percentage of the total bankroll or the amount of money you are willing to risk on a particular bet – for example 1 unit is 10% of your bankroll, therefore with a $100 bankroll 1 unit equals $10.
