Remus Phoenix is the class here and a faultless trotting display should see him get the job done. However, I’m more keen to have a good place bet (and maybe something tiny the win) on Stately Salome. First up from a long, long time away at Kilmore, she looked like running a great race behind Pinnie but galloped when making a charge in the straight. She’s the clear second pick here and it wouldn’t shock me to see her win.
