Not a Pretty result for some as star filly is beaten for the first time

Very Pretty’s shock first career defeat proved a hurtful one for some big TAB customers on Saturday night.

The Emma Stewart-trained star was subject to bets of $4000 at $1.05 and $1.04, but could not secure the small profit for punters as she failed to run down outsider Exotic Bushranger in the Logical Staffing Solutions Pace.

The result was Very Pretty’s first loss at her ninth career start.

Below are some of the big hits and misses with the TAB on Victorian harness racing last week.
