Ryan Phelan looks at the form for a big 9-race card from Shepparton Tuesday night.

Ryan Phelan’s tips, strategy and Quaddie for the nine races from Shepparton Tuesday night.

R1 – 6:05m – Avenel Equine Hospital Pace – 1690m

10 – Imawingate

11 – Our Mystery Bet

9 – Northern Terror

7 – Beryls Grin

R2 – 6:31pm – Central Tyre Service Pace – 1690m

6 – Divine Tilly

9 – Totally Stunning

5 – Roxella

7 – Hellodarlin

Divine Tilly is having her first start as a 3yo and she comes here off a very nice trial where she ran on strongly in a good last half to win quite comfortably. The horse drawn immediately to her inside has speed which may assist her to finding a decent map. This isn’t an overly strong line up, so she can breakthrough.

BACK: 6 Divine Tilly – 2 Units (win)

R3 – 7:00pm – Granada Park Standardbreds Concession Drivers Pace – 2190m

9 – Kalkadoon Dreaming

6 – Karuma Kev

8 – Epic Orion

11 – Shonny Lou

Kalkadoon Dreaming has been a bit of a rogue for trainer Scott Rains, but he’s finally found the key to him winning his last two. It also helps that concession driver Louis Emerson has already got a feel for him last start. His previous failures have not been due to lack of ability, so with natural progression he should go on with it.

BACK: 9 Kalkadoon Dreaming – 2 Units (win)

R4 – 7:34pm – Saddleworld Shepparton Pace – 2190m

3 – Followtheace

9 – Arggghhh

8 – Spirit Of Arion

10 – Our Vincent Can Gogh

Followtheace takes a step up in grade against this line up, but his form has been too good to ignore. His run last start in NSW was impressive, and prior was winning in dominant style locally. He has the speed to lead, so even though this is a strong race I love his map and honesty.

BACK: 3 Followtheace– 2 Units (win)

R5 – 8:08pm – Your Sold Real Estate Pace – 1690m

3 – Vinceska

10 – Alot Like Pendles

7 – Apache Plume

2 – Mussel Shoals

Vinceska looks well placed second-up from a break here and with that fitness edge can afford a more forward map position here over the short trip, and if she finds the top will be hard to run down. She never got clear running first up and went to the line with plenty in hand.

BACK: 3 Vinceska – 4 Units (win)

R6 – 8:42pm – Hunter Rural Maiden Trot – 1690m

1 – Kayuu

8 – Miss Avenger

5 – Trottersmakemegrey

2 – Blue Sky Alm

R7 – 9:16pm – Jarvis Delahey Construction Pace – 1690m

4 – Anywhereigohugo

10 – Telern Lofty

5 – Mcwizard

8 – Savoy Ballroom

R8 – 9:50pm – Cottrell Electrical Pace – 1690m

8 – Calexico

5 – Good Tobe Locksley

3 – Maas Betting Again

2 – Hes Lethal

R9 – 10:27pm – Neatline Homes Pace – 2190m

7 – Racing Writer

4 – Art On Fire

2 – Eagle Major

9 – Our Cheeky Devil

** A betting unit is typically a percentage of the total bankroll or the amount of money you are willing to risk on a particular bet – for example 1 unit is 10% of your bankroll, therefore with a $100 bankroll 1 unit equals $10.
