Summer of Glory to launch with special broadcast in Ballarat

The epic four-night TAB Summer of Glory carnival will be launched in grand style at the Ballarat and District Trotting Club next week.

The barrier draw for January 21’s Group 1 Ballarat Pacing Cup will be revealed exclusively on RSN 927AM from 11.30am on Tuesday as Dan Mielicki and Tim O’Connor dissect the field and chat with guests during the one-and-a-half hour special.

Mielicki and O’Connor will broadcast live from Bray Raceway where trials have been scheduled from 10am.

The club will provide a free barbecue and drinks, and there will be giveaways for those in attendance.

The TAB Summer of Glory carnival begins with the PETstock Ballarat Pacing Cup meeting and then heads to Melton on January 28 for a card highlighted by the Group 2 VHRC Caduceus 3YO Classic, Group 2 TAB V L Dullard Trotters Cup and Group 3 Allied Express Casey Classic.

Night three at Melton on Friday, February 3 is headlined by the Woodlands Stud Great Southern Star before the carnival closes with the Del-Re National A G Hunter Cup meeting at the same track the following evening.
